The objective of this consultation, which began on Wednesday, March 10, 2021, is to conduct bilateral discussions in order to reach a partnership agreement to accelerate digital transformation in the Community.
Led by Fily BOUARE SISSOKO, Commissioner in charge of the Department of Enterprise Development, Mines, Energy and Digital Economy (DEMEN) and, Moustapha BEN BARKA, Vice-President of the WADB, this session will also be an opportunity for the Bank to take ownership of the three studies carried out in 2020 by the WAEMU Commission in the area of digital economy.
The meeting ends on March 12, 2021 with the adoption of a draft cooperation agreement between the WAEMU Commission and the WADB for the acceleration of digital transformation within the WAEMU region.
